Do angel investors invest in people who do not have an innovative idea?

No. In fact, angel investors do not even invest in ideas!

Angel investors—and venture capital investors—only invest in companies that have managed, on their own, to get started, get a product going, and get some traction in the market. That’s because the only way angels make money is to buy a share of the company early in its life at a low cost, and then sell their share to someone else, typically within five to ten years, for more than thirty times what they paid for it.
