What is the most shocking biological record ever achieved?

What you see is what is called ”Lloyds Bank coprolite” or the largest human excrement in the world. Discovered in 1972 during excavations in the area on which the same bank would later be built, it measures 20 cm in length and 5 cm in diameter.

The fossil dates back to the 9th century and is thought, given the time and place, to be that of a Viking. Through tests, researchers discovered that the coprolite was composed of a diet of meat and bread as well as hundreds of parasitic eggs, which suggests that the Viking was infested with numerous intestinal worms. The find is so famous that it has a special place in the museum and its economic value in archaeological terms is equal to that of the crown jewels.
